SENIOR HIGH STUDENTS
Senior High students have a special place at Broadmoor! All students, no matter where they are in life, are welcome here to be themselves here. Our goal is to create an environment that fosters spiritual growth, creativity, and action.
WHAT WE DO
THE GATHERING | WEDNESDAYS FROM 6:30-7:30PM
We have a unique senior high worship experience called The Gathering on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 7:30pm. It's a time filled with games, high-energy worship, and solid Biblical teaching. It will be a time where students are equipped and challenged in their faith, but it is also a neat environment to bring friends that may be on the fringe. This year we will be going through foundational doctrines and practices of God’s church and helping our students see how it relates to their world.
LIFE GROUPS | SUNDAY MORNINGS 9:15 & 10:45AM
Life Groups meet on Sunday mornings at 9:15 and 10:45AM in Youth World. This is a great place to make those initial connections in our student ministry. Students meet with their grade for large group games and teaching and then break off into gender-based small groups for deeper discussion. This is a place where students are surrounded by friends and incredible adult leaders who encourage spiritual growth. We will be using the Student Life PRIME study this year. Here is a description of what to expect:
PRIME: As we grow, our lives become increasingly full of options and distractions, but life is in balance when God is placed first. This study challenges your students to focus on their personal relationship with God through practical applications and prepares them for life after youth group. It’s made up of 8 six-week courses designed to keep your students engaged with the truth of God’s Word.

WORSHIP PROJECT | SUNDAY NIGHTS 5:00-6:00PM
We want are students to learn how to worship God with their talents in everyday life. Join us on Sunday nights for the Worship Project for student choir and tech training.
EQUIPPING U | SUNDAY NIGHTS 6:00-7:00PM
These are small group Bible studies meet on Sunday nights from 6:00 - 7:00PM. Equipping classes are for students wanting to dive a little deeper. They require more ownership from the student and are very discussion driven. Equipping classes are offered in the fall and the spring. This is another great opportunity to get to know other students on a deeper level as well.
Equipping Classes start Sunday, September 11 and go through Sunday, November 13. The following classes will be offered this fall:
- Radical for Teens by David Platt
- Lies that Young Women Believe by Dannah Gresh and Nancy Leigh Demoss
- Basic: Who is God? by Francis Chan
- Worship Matters by Bob Kauflin and Paul Baloche
- Going Deeper (Juniors and Seniors Only)
