Life Stage

We are a group of either engaged, or newly wed couples passionate about our love for the Lord and for each other. We consider any couple who has been married under 5 years and has never been through intensive marriage classes an appropriate fit for our group.

Socials

We especially enjoy spending time together and creating friendships that will last through every stage of life. Whether it’s having lunch together after church, or camping out as a group, whether it’s a fall afternoon flag football game, or we simply grab dinner and a Friday night movie; one of the best things about our class is the community we create.

Curriculum

Mike and Celeste Hurst partner with Bridgforth and Lori Rutledge to lead our class. Each couple has been married more than a decade and are extremely open and honest about their relationships and any marriage mistakes they have made. They are passionate about their own marriages and mentoring those entering into the covenant of marriage. In this class you will not only receive skills and resources on how to build the marriage God intended for you, but you will learn how to dig into scripture and apply it to every relationship in your life.

Missions

Although we are a class based on marriage, we believe serving together is one of the most important ways to get to know one another and grow strong in our Christian friendships.

We are so passionate about serving others. We believe it’s precisely why God placed us on this earth; to bring Him glory through our actions. Whether it’s globally or locally, we are so excited to share the love of God with others.

Small Groups

Small groups meet every Wednesday night at 7:00. Guys and girls have individual small groups. Fall 2010 we will be reading through God’s Big Picture: Tracing the Storyline of the Bible by Vaughn Roberts.

God presented our class with a family in desperate need of suitable living conditions for a set of grandparents and 4 children under the age of 9.  God provided for their every need and continues to "wow" us with His mercy and grace in regards to their situation!  These photos are of the 8 hour period we spent moving in the droves of clothing, furniture, and toys God poured out on this family in need!!
