Young Adults Pastor

"I do not take for granted that I was so blessed to be raised in an amazing Christian home. My mom and dad were not just “church goers,” they were kingdom minded people who modeled their love for the Lord and their love for people. As the youngest of five, I was able to see the Lord do his work through my family. At the age of 9, I trusted the Lord as my Savior. Several years later, two youth ministers poured their life into me and helped me catch a glimpse of what it meant to be a true disciple. As a senior in high school, I knew I wanted to invest my life in ministry to people. Through a few years of personal pain and failure, the Lord showed me a glimpse of the truth of His grace and His unrelenting favor for His children. My life was changed, and the Lord gave me a passion to take the truth of His grace to the world, to those outside the church walls. Youth for Christ allowed me the opportunity to get into the world of the teenager, in the neighborhoods and on the campuses, and share that message. Today, I know that there is a generation of young adults who is becoming disillusioned, disconnected, and skeptical of today’s church. They, along with all of us, long for a sense of community where they can experience love and grace through authentic relationships with each other and with our Lord. I am so thankful for the privilege to now be serving here at Broadmoor where I have the opportunity to share with this generation the Truth that changed my life so many years ago."
