2010 INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS
Mukachevo, Ukraine | June 18-26 | For a number of years Broadmoor has partnered with church planters Lori and Oleg Enskyy in establishing relationships that can be built on to grow a new church in the western Ukrainian city of Mukachevo. This team will provide a basketball camp as well as Bible clubs for children. Community Impact Pastor Rowland Hall will be team leader for this mission.
Odessa, Ukraine | June 4-12 | For many years Broadmoor has partnered with a number of churches in the Odessa region of Ukraine as well as with Odessa Theological Seminary (OTS). OTS is the first evangelical seminary established after the fall of communism in Eastern Europe. The teams traveling to this region of Ukraine will assist in church planting, lead women's ministry events, provide medical clinics for the community, provide leadership for Bible studies, and give general support to Christian leaders. Ken Laird and June Nolen will be team leaders for this mission.
Honduras | March 13-20 | This trip will be led by members of our Young Married ministries at Broadmoor, and headed up by TK Dunn. Broadmoor will be partnering with Salt and Light Ministry and will be involved in construction, medical and dental ministries, and Vacation Bible School. Our team will also be exploring the possibilities of contributing to the installation of a water purification system for a community in Honduras. West Sussex, England | July 3-14 | This is our fourth year to partner with Three Bridges Free Church in Crawley, England. This team will serve in various roles in public schools using basketball as a means to gain and build credibility. The team will also participate in professional roundtables, serve in homeless ministry, help with a teen shelter, and lead worship conferences and Bible studies. Paris, France | TBA | John and Sarah Perkins are Southern Baptist Missionaries who serve as church planters in Paris, France. Sarah is daughter of David and Lukie Grant. David pastored Broadmoor for 29 years and Lukie continues to be and active member. John and Sarah have served for 20 years as missionaries. This mission trip is currently in the planning stages. Information will be added as it becomes available.
