Welcome to the Crowder/Hendrix Life Group!
My Purpose is that they may be encourage in heart and united in love, so that they may have full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and understanding. Colossians 2:2 - 3
Women’s Life Group
Real life change is achieved through the power of the Holy Spirit working in the believer who has committed her life to Christ. Living a truly surrendered life can only occur when a believer chooses to make knowing God her priority by knowing His Word, praying His Word, and living His Word.
Mission Statement: The Women’s life group seeks to instruct, guide, and encourage women in their spiritual journey by presenting Gods word in an applicable and meaningful manner. This goal will be achieved through sound biblical instruction, worship, prayer, fellowship, service, and outreach. As a body of Christian women, we will seek to take what we learn outside the walls of the church and serve our families, community and the world that all will know our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Biblical Instruction - For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. Romans 15:4 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correction, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:1
Worship - All the earth will worship Thee, And will sing praises to Thee; They will sing praises to Thy name. Psalms 66:4
Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Psalms 100:2
Prayer - Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition and with thanksgiving present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
Fellowship - But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his son, purifies us from all sin. 1 John 1:7
Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another- and all the more as you see the day approaching. Hebrew 10:25
Service - The greatest among you will be a servant. For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted. Matthew 23:11-12
It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13
Outreach - And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)
It is not for you to know the times or dates the father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem (Madison), and in all Judea (Mississippi), and Samaria (The United States), and to the ends of the earth (The Rest of the World). Acts 1:7-8
