EASTER ART EXPERIENCE 2012
APRIL 1 - 29 | The life of Jesus was the ultimate gift of humanity, and what greater response at Easter than to use our gifts and talents to reflect what Jesus came and died for - to show us love.
Once again, The Art Center at Broadmoor is calling artists of all disciplines - whether painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, poetry, pottery, or mixed medium - to participate in a unique art exhibit this Easter. This year's theme is based on the song, In Christ Alone. The following is a link in Apple's iTunes music store. After clicking on the link, download track #4 (In Christ Alone). This is an open call for creative submissions. Those received and selected will be displayed in a public gallery on the campus of Broadmoor Baptist Church in Madison. No one is exempt from the ability to bring creative expression. You can be as creative as you like, as long as your art in some way reflects, or gives reference to the Easter theme mentioned above. Submission will be accepted through Monday, March 26, 2012 (4:30PM), and will be subject to approval by a panel of event staff. Submissions must be gallery ready and should include a brief written statement including the name of the piece and your inspiration for it.
